Question by Kevin S: Are Henna tattoos more for females or can men have them as well?
I been seeing a lot of women with henna tattoo’s but haven’t seen men with them, I like how they look & want to design my own for before I do I just wanted to know if they are more directed towards women or can men also have them?

Well firstly Henna or mehendi is basically used for women (Hindu brides- that’s how they came about) and well of recent women just started wearing them. Grooms are also known to wear it but that is just from India so in the west, i don’t think men really wear it.

Men can have them as well, but it depends on the culture as well.
I’m sure in our modern society today, men don henna tattoos as well. However, it’ usually donned by women in India who are brides to be. Men back then don’t wear henna because of the very feminine floral designs henna usually has, but nowadays, I’ve seen more masculine, edgy henna designs.
